Before You Depart for St. Thomas
-
Access Info.: Before your arrival, we will send you the access information.
-
Rental Car/Taxi: All the major car rental companies are located at the airport. Some are outside the airport area, and you will need to take a shuttle or a taxi. Depending on your itinerary, it might be easier and potentially cheaper to rent a car. Taxis usually wait at the resort (e.g. cost from airport to condo is approximately $11/person plus suitcase). You can also take the cheaper safari buses that operate along the main road (walk up a steep road, very spotty service).
-
Energy and Water: Energy and water are very precious commodities on this small island. Islanders, expats, and visitors try to minimize their environmental impact by conserving these scarce resources. Please help to preserve the unique beauty of these islands and the surrounding waters by conserving energy and water. Please keep all doors closed when you run the AC.
-
Travel Insurance: We highly recommend guests to take out travel insurance, especially during the peak hurricane season from August through October. The following companies offer plans: csatravelprotection.com; travelguard.com (AIG) or etravelprotection.com/allianz.

Entry into the Condo: We will provide you with the entrance key code to open the keyless lock on the front door. A lock box is in the condo for your valuables.
-
Check-in: Please check in at 4:00 PM or later.

-
Supplies: This is a self-catered condo. We provide bath supplies but make sure you have everything you need. You can get everything you need in Red Hook (2 min drive).
Departure
-
Check-out: Please check out no later than 10:00 AM. This is important and cannot be changed unless we make prior arrangements for a late check-out. The cleaning staff needs the time to prepare the condo for the next guests, and they will start cleaning at 10 am sharp.
During Your Stay
-
Parking is available for you in front of the building entrance free of charge.
-
The kitchen is well-equipped to cook a full meal.
-
Wireless Internet: High speed internet service is available to you free of charge.
-
Groceries: There is a gourmet market in Red Hook called Moe’s Fresh Market. There are several larger grocery stores on the island.
-
Drinking Water: Water in our condo is safe to drink. We provide a water filter for your convenience and to help reduce plastic waste on the island.
-
Laundry: Token Laundromats are available on site at the Marina. Consider bringing single use detergent from home.
-
Beach/Pool/Lounge chairs: There are beach chairs next to building B for our guests at no charge. The beach attendants will carry the chairs to the area you designate, and they pick them up at the end of the day. Beach beds at the pool are plentiful.
-
Snorkeling/kayaking: You can snorkel or kayak along the coral reefs right outside the condo. Be mindful of these fragile creatures and never touch any of the corals. There is a dive shop that provides information and rental gear right at the beach.
Miscellaneous
-
What to bring: We provide linens, towels and beach towels. We also provide soaps and shampoo. As you would expect, everything is quite expensive on the island. We recommend you bring what is practical to pack to save you precious vacation time and money.
-
Optional Services: We can arrange for optional services as listed on the Rates page of this site.
-
Power Outages: Usually power comes back on quickly, but, occasionally, it might take a while and is outside of our control. We have a solar powered emergency lantern in the condo on the shelf below the TV downstairs. Make sure you know where it is. Allow light to reach it to charge. Please leave it there for the next guests.
-
Good to know: The condo association treats the condos for bugs and other unwanted guests, but, depending on the season, you may see a bug occasionally. Being on the third floor helps, and we recommend you keep the screens closed just in case. Occasionally when we wait for repair service or a spare part it might move on “island time.” We and our operations team are doing our very best to provide you with the best experience possible.
-
Feedback: Thank you for choosing our condo to spend your vacation. We and our local team want to make sure you have a great time. We'd love to hear from you and to see how you like everything or what we could do to make your stay even better. If you enjoyed your vacation, we would appreciate it if you could take a moment to rate us and write a review on your booking site.
